Boracay

 

The westernmost island in Western Visayas, Boracayborders the provinces of Mindoro to the northwest and Romblon to the north. Other than Tagalog/Filipino and other local dialects, English is widely spoken inBoracay. Akeanon is predominantly spoken in Aklan, the gateway to the island.

El Nido

 

ENamed as the most beautiful island beaches in the world by Condé Nast Traveller magazine in 2015, El Nido is one of the must-visit and must return places in the Philippines in 2016. Cebu

 

Along with Palawan and Boracay, the island of Cebu is also considered one of the top 20 best islands in the world by Condé Nast Traveller magazine. A month isn’t enough to explore the whole of Cebu, which is known for its white beaches, luxury resorts, and rich history. Malapascua Island is one of the most popular destinations in Cebu. The small island which can be walked around in two hours is home to lovely beaches and relaxing breeze of air. Tourists visit the island for a once-in-a-life time diving experience with the thresher sharks.

Bohol

One of the most famous landmarks of the Philippines, Chocolate Hills are more than a thousand hills spread over the municipalities of Carmen, Sagbayan and Batuan in Bohol. They are called as such because their green grasses layers turn brown during the dry season, making them look like chocolates. The province of Bohol is also known for white sand beaches, rivers, centuries-old churches, and the Philippine tarsier.

Puerto Princesa

 

Palawan seems to never run dry of amazing destinations for tourists. The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park also called Puerto Princesa Underground River is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The 8.2 km long Underground River is said to be the longest navigable underground river in the world. The cave system contains stalactites, stalagmites, small underground waterfalls, and more river channels.

Manila

 

Metropolitan Manila is located in the southern region of Luzon, the largest island in the Philippines, an archipelago nation comprised of more than 7,000 islands in the southwest Pacific Ocean between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer. Manila sits in the coastal lowlands of Manila Bay and is divided into southern and northern districts by the Pasig River.

Davao

 

Davao City is constantly described by its residents and the national media as arguably among one of the safest cities in the Philippines, however this has been met with criticism, especially by the people from Metro Manila.

Coron

Coron is the third-largest island in the Calamian Islands in northern Palawan in the Philippines. The island is part of the larger municipality of the same name. It is about 170 nautical miles (310 km) southwest of Manila and is known for several Japanese shipwrecks of World War II vintage. Because of its unique ecological features, it is entirely protected by several legal proclamations.

Laoag

Laoag, officially the City of Laoag (Ilocano: Ciudad ti Laoag; Filipino: Lungsod ng Laoag), is a third-class city and capital of theprovince of Ilocos Norte in the Philippines.The northernmost city in the nation, it is the province's political, commercial, and industrial hub and the location of the Ilocos region's only commercial airport. According to the 2010 census, it had a population of 104,904 people.

Cagayan De Oro

 

, Camiguin's white sandbar and hot and cold springs in Bukidnon, Dahilayan Adventure ParkCagayan de Oro is the natural gateway to famous tourist spots in Northern Mindanao such as Timoga water springs in Iligan, and aquamarine park in Misamis Occidental. Cagayan de Oro is also famous for its whitewater rafting or kayaking adventures, one of the tourism activities being promoted along the Cagayan de Oro River.

Iloilo

Iloilo City is bordered by the towns of Oton in the west, Pavia in the north, Leganes in the northeast and the Iloilo Strait in its eastern and southern coastline. The city was a conglomeration of former towns, which are now the geographical districts consisting of: Jaro (an independent city-before), Molo, La Paz, Mandurriao, Villa Arevalo, and Iloilo City Proper. The district ofLapuz, a former part of La Paz, was declared a separate district in 2008.
